Best Buy to sell Electric Motorcycle

Best Buy, what comes to mind when you think of them? Blue shirts, games, maybe computers? Did motorcycles come to mind? Or even electric ones?

Brammo is partnering with Best Buy to release their line of Enertia electric motorcycles in stores nationwide. The bike will run on a Lithium Ion battery and will hold a charge for 45 miles, and can be recharged 1000 times. The top speed of the bike is 50 miles per hour, so it’s no slouch.

Bikes are said to have been released to west coast stores in early July, and will spread from there. The MSRP for the Enertia is $12,000. I know, a bit steep for some, especially when a regular old pedal bike is more than enough.
