I think Stuff is over…

February 4, 2010 by

Sorry guys, I think I owe you an explanation.

I am no longer writing for Stuff. I’m going to do my own thing and hopefully it survives longer than Stuff did. The other writers stopped showing up back in October, so it was just me for the last few months. Then I got lazy around the holidays and slacked off too.

No need to worry! The Angry Building is up and running! Expect the same type of content, and hopefully no drop offs…

So long Stuff…It’s been a fun ride.

Official: Michael Bay working on Transformers 3

December 14, 2009 by

From his official forum “Shoot for the Edit,” Bay has announced that he is working on Transformers 3. Originally he was going to take a year off and do other projects, but he has changed his plan and is working on TF3 for a July 2011 release.

[Autor’s Note] To make this post better, imagine Optimus Prime tearing off robot faces while each space between words is an explosion. Baytastic.

Left 4 Dead Survivors to Fans: “Did you miss us?”

December 14, 2009 by

One of the biggest questions when Left 4 Dead 2 came out was, “Where are the other survivors?” Alright, maybe it wasn’t the biggest question, but it was asked…a lot! Well Valve plans to answer that question this Spring.

December 13, 2009 by

Seriously! Go look! After a long 3 month downtime, the free rental site Demonoid.com is back up. Their main page says they are running a test script to see how things work, but the downloads are working. There have been some minor problems connecting to the site, but that may be from all the people trying to connect at once.

December 11, 2009 by

More Borderlands news for you. A new DLC pack is coming to gamers by the end of the month. Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot is not only bringing more arenas to the game, but also a whole new game mode. Think of ODST’s Firefight or Gears of Wars 2 Horde mode.

Borderlands 2: Borderworlds?

December 4, 2009 by

Borderlands was a freaking awesome game. So awesome that Gearbox has said they are totally doing a sequel! Destructoid posted yesterday that the Borderlands sequel may be titled Borderworlds.

This confuses me. The planet in BL was called Pandora. It was used as a prison planet cause it was the harshest planet to live on, and it had mining opportunities, plus a mythical vault that was said to be full of goodies! So will there be an introduction of new planets to the Borderlands universe? Will we be traveling between them, or will they just stick us on one the whole time? Only time will tell…or maybe Gearbox..

Oscar Mike for charity

December 4, 2009 by

Anyone that’s played Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has heard the phrase “Oscar Mike.” Some of those players didn’t know what it meant, including myself, and made me think of Oscar Mayer Bologna. Oscar Mike means “On the Move.”

Short review: COD:MW2 is an awesome game. The story didn’t feel like the previous, this one had more of an epic action movie feel. The online is just massive. Check it out.

Giant Bomb has Oscar Mike T-shirts for purchase in their shop. The proceeds will go to the Child’s Play charity fund.

No More Heroes: Heroes Paradise Trailer

December 4, 2009 by

Here is the first trailer for Grasshopper Manufacture’s No More Heroes: Heroes Paradise. Still no word on a U.S. release, but they have said that the motion control ( which pretty much made NMH) is being taken out of the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 versions. This writer has only one thing to say to that; DUUUHHHHHHHHHH. I wouldn’t think that anyone would expect the game to retain the motion controls for the HD consoles, even if the PS3 has a motion control set up. The Sixaxis probably isn’t precise enough for it.

Aliens sunk my Battleship

December 2, 2009 by

Previously in board game movie news, I told you about the Ouija Board movie. This time it’s all about BATTLESHIP! Director Peter Berg is working to develop the game for the big screen. I wonder if he will move his ships around after you start playing.

New Moon breaks box office record

November 22, 2009 by

This Twilight crap has got to stop. Somehow it managed to break the opening night box office record that was once held by The Dark Knight with $67.2 Million. New Moon managed to make $72.7 Million in just one day.

Excuse me, I’m going to go beat my head into a wall for an hour and a half.
